Officially Qualified For Iditarod!

Matt is officially qualified for Iditarod after finishing the Don Bower's Memorial 300 mile race. He ran the team conservatively, and still managed an outstanding third place! The dogs are looking good, and the warm weather has been very nice for the dogs' 3-day vacation. We have gotten a lot of work done on the Iditarod drop bags, which are a major part of the Iditarod. The veteran racers say that 90% of Iditarod happens before the start! It is taking a lot of time and money, but our sponsors have been outstanding with helping us get everything we need. Because of you we feel thoroughly prepared for the journey of 1,049 miles.
Thank you to our sponsors,
North Sails and Danny Calore for 2,000 booties
Kinder Industries for a beautiful sled bag
The Kipp and Calore families for the support, both financial and emotional
and also to our newest sponsor,
ALASKAN ILLUSIONS PRODUCTIONS
who will be putting together a movie of our preparation and performance in the 2007 Iditarod Sled Dog Race!
THANK YOU ALL
